  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Olive oil for drizzling

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 01

    Preheat the Oven

  2. 02

    Prepare the Pide Base

Slice the Turkish Pide in half lengthwise to create two flat bases (or leave it whole for a thicker pizza). Place it on a sheet of parchment paper.

  3. 03

    Add the Sauce

Spread a thin, even layer of tomato sauce or salça over the Pide base. Make sure to cover the entire surface, leaving a small border for the crust.

  4. 04

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by crumbled feta cheese. Add sliced onions, olives, and diced sucuk or pastırma.

  5. 05

Sprinkle dried oregano and red pepper flakes over the toppings for added flavor. Drizzle a little olive oil on top to enhance the crispness and taste.

  6. 06

    Bake the Pizza

Carefully transfer the Pide with parchment paper onto the preheated baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the Pide are golden and crispy.

  7. 07

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Slice into pieces and serve warm with a side of salad or yogurt dip.

TIPS

  • Customize the toppings with vegetables like bell peppers, mushrooms, or eggplant for a vegetarian option.
  • For a smoky flavor, try adding roasted red peppers or a drizzle of smoked paprika oil after baking.
